My Favourite Drugstore Lipgloss

I am a self-confessed lip product addict. I love it all. Admittedly, I’m more of a lipstick kinda gal (I’ve even done whole posts on my favourite every day lipsticks, and my favourite spring shades) but there is one lipgloss that I can’t live without. The NYX Butter Gloss range is my all time favourite lipgloss. These glosses are super affordable at only  £5.50, £6 for the Intense range of Butter Glosses. The original line comes in 34 shades, while the Intense Butter Gloss range comes in 24 shades. Currently, I have 4 of the original formula, and 1 of the Intense formula.

All of the NYX Butter Glosses are pigmented, non-sticky, and have a sweet vanilla/caramel scent. As with most lipglosses, these also come with a doe foot applicator for an even, easy application.

Strawberry Parfait

Strawberry Parfait is a stunning bright pink, that is sheer enough to wear alone for a wash of colour, or over your favourite bright pink.

Eclair is a pale, blue-based creme pink. It’s a very girly, feminine shade that is perfect with cooler toned makeup looks.

Tiramisu is my favourite shade. It’s a brown-based nude with a hint of pink, that is perfect for everyday. It’s my most worn shade.

Angel Food Cake

Angel Food Cake is my most recent purchase (hence the newer packaging) and is a beautiful deeper mauve shade. It’s a lot more sophisticated and “grown up” feeling. I love wearing this alone or over MAC “Faux” and “Brave” lipsticks.

Tres Leches

Tres Leches is my only Intense Butter Gloss, and is apparently a great dupe for the Kylie Cosmetics gloss in “Koko K” (which is why I bought it). It’s super pigmented, so you can definitely wear this alone.

NYX Butter Glosses are available from Boots and ASOS.
