holiday gift guide for beauty lovers

Can you believe that December is literally this weekend?! I feel like this whole year has completely flown by!

The holiday season is rapidly approaching and with that comes a lot of gift giving. I know from experience that some people are just hard to buy for, or you just don’t know enough about the things they like to be able to make a decision. That’s why I wanted to put together a couple of gift guides to help make that decision easier – and what better place to start than with beauty?

This gift guide is for all of those beauty lovers in your life. Plus, everything is under £50, so there’s something for every budget.

For Skincare Lovers

Mario Badescu Facial Spray Travel Trio (£9)

This trio of travel sized facial sprays is perfect for any skincare lover (or aspiring VSCO girl – we’ll pretend that I didn’t have to Google that) in your life. It’s perfect for a smaller gift if you’re on a budget but still want to get them something quality, but it would also be perfect as a stocking stuffer or Secret Santa gift too!

GLAMGLOW Superstar Set (£42)

GLAMGLOW is one of those brands that’s so luxury (think Beyonce and Kim K), that you probably wouldn’t want to buy it for yourself. If you’re able to stretch the budget a little, why not treat someone you really love to a little slice of celebrity-loved skincare? Perfect for someone who loves a good pamper night.

The Ordinary The Daily Set (£15)

The Ordinary has been causing quite the stir in the skincare world for a while now, and for good reason. Not only does this set let you try out a few of their products, it won’t break the bank either! Anyone who’s really knows their skincare stuff is going to love this gift.

For the Beauty Guru

BeautyBlender Dripping in Diamonds set (£32)

Makeup sponges are always needed, and BeautyBlenders are the best of the best. This set comes with 2 of their iconic blending sponges, as well as 2 gemstone-shaped cleansers. BeautyBlenders can be expensive and need to be replaced more often than brushes, but buying them in a set generally makes it more cost effective. Why not treat your favourite makeup lover to the gift of flawlessly blended foundation?

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Mini Velour Liquid Lipsticks – Nude (£45)

Jeffree Star liquid lipsticks are some of the best that I’ve ever tried. They apply smoothly, are completely opaque in 1 coat and last for hours. This set comes with 8 of his most famous nude shades, which are perfect for everyday wear. This is a set that you can guarantee they’ll get a ton of use out of.

Becca Glow on the Go Highlighter set in Opal (£22)

When it comes to highligher, more is more. Give someone the gift of glow with this set highlighters from Becca. This set contains a mini powder highlighter and mini liquid highlighter, both in one of the brand’s most popular shades. This would be a great stocking stuffer for someone who likes their makeup more on the glam side.

Fenty Beauty Glossy Posse Lip Gloss Set (£34)

Fenty Beauty lip glosses are my favourite lip glosses ever. They’re super shiny and not at all sticky. This set comes with 5 shades, including Fu$$y (my personal fave) and 4 brand new colours. Honestly, I might even buy this for myself.

For the Bath and Body Lover

Sol De Janeiro Carnival Dreams (£36)

A lot of people rave about the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream by Sol De Janeiro and this set lets you try it out, as well as other items from the range. This is a little higher in price, but it would make a great gift for someone who loves to pamper themselves.

Soap & Glory Wash Upon a Jar (£12)

Soap & Glory sets are a staple part of a British Christmas, but this one is a little different than the usual body wash/body butter set. This set contains a jar of mini bath bombs and a jar of bath salts, both in the Original Pink scent. Perfect for someone who loves a relaxing bath, but won’t break your budget!

Body Shop Body Butter Festive Star (£25)

This set comes with 5 different scents of arguably one of the best body butters on the market. These body butters feel luxurious on the skin and smell delicious. Plus, all of The Body Shop’s products are vegan and cruelty free, so they’re perfect for someone who likes to be more conscious about what beauty products they’re using.

I hope this list helped you pick out some gifts for the beauty lover in your life. Let me know if you’re going to be buying anything from this list, and share your ideas in the comments too!
